Jefferson Union

Jefferson Union is a new state-of-the-art tax credit development located in one of the most scenic areas in the town of Wytheville. The complex consists of 24 units, with 12 units designed and constructed for persons with disabilities.

The complex includes 8 one (1) bedroom units and 16 two (2) bedroom units. Amenities included are water, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances including dishwasher, and roll-in showers in units designed for persons with disabilities. The entire complex is non-smoking. No pets will be allowed except for service animals.

WRHA is currently taking applications for the Jefferson Union development. All applicants must be income qualified with apartment rentals beginning at $404 per month for one (1) bedroom and $487 per month for two (2) bedroom apartments.

Cassell Pines is an 18 unit complex consisting of one and two bedroom apartments, of which five are designed and constructed for individuals who are physically and/or mentally challenged and desire to maintain their independence. Cassell Pines, located on Cassell Road in Wytheville, Virginia, is within walking distance of churches, groceries, restaurants, and retail stores. Yet it is far enough away for quiet, peaceful living environment.

All applicants must be income qualified with apartment rentals ranging from $378 to $493 per month for one (1) and two (2) bedroom apartments. This modern development features beautifully designed and spacious living quarters, private balconies, “energy-star” appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and central heat/air, all located in a secure neighborhood.


Southridge apartments and houses are located on West Lee Highway in Wytheville. This site consists of eight 3 bedroom single family dwellings and twelve 1 bedroom apartments.
